For over 50 years Dublin Concert Band (based in Dublin City Centre) has been a major part of the musical landscape in Dublin with musicians from every part of the City, Country and beyond! Having just completed a hugely successful Golden Jubilee year in 2008, DCB is now focused on moving into the next 50 years with a focus on challenging its members and entertaining its audiences musically. DCB won the National Band Championships in Cork in 2009. The band brings together a great mix of youthful enthusiasm and mature musicianship which combines to make one of Ireland's premier wind bands.

The Dublin Symphony Orchestra is one of Dublin’s leading non-professional orchestras whose members hail from a variety of backgrounds and professions. The Orchestra performs at least three public concerts each year and provides its enthusiastic members with the opportunity to study and perform classical orchestral music.
