We are giving you advance notice of an event that took place for the first time last year and was a great success. The Bartsfest takes place over two days as part of our patronal festival in the parish. On Saturday 24th August in the grounds and in the church of Saint Bartholomew (Clyde Rd) we will hold a parish fair with stalls for books, CDs, DVDs, a bottle stall, Bric-a-Braq, cakes and food and many more. There will also be entertainment for children, refreshments, public humiliation of the Vicar and a special stall where you can bring antiques and collectables to be valued and assessed. The fair will begin at 11:00am sharp. Hope to see you there.
On Sunday 25th August at 11:00am we will celebrate our Patronal Festival in the church with a special service. The preacher is Fr Emsley Nimmo, Rector of the Church of St Margaret of Scotland and Dean of Aberdeen and Orkney. All are most welcome.
