The Royal Irish Academy of Music Philharmonia returns to Saint Bartholomew’s for a lunchtime performance this Friday, 6 March. Led by maestro Gerhard Markson, the programme features Schumann’s Overture, Scherzo, and Finale (his self-proclaimed ‘symphonette’), as well as the joyous and wit-imbued Symphony No. 6 in C Major by Schubert and Ina Boyle’s short but captivating orchestral sketch, Wild Geese. Tickets are €12 (€8 concession; €5 students) and may be purchased online at riam.ie/box-office or at the door.
