Tenebrae
With Holy Week services cancelled for a second year in a row, members of our choirs instead worked with Tim and Anne Thurston and Fr. Andrew to produce a broadcast service of Tenebrae. The performance went live on Monday, 29 March. If you missed it, catch it on Facebook or scroll down to watch it here.
The music for the service was as follows:
– Karg-Elert: Chorale Improvisation on “Let us now with Christ be dying”
– Miller: Rockingham (“When I survey the wondrous cross”)
– Amerio: Christus Factus Est
– Byrd: Agnus Dei (Mass for 4 voices)
– Ireland: Ex Ore Innocentium
– Victoria: O vos omnes
– Stainer: God so loved the world
– Rossini: O salutaris hostia
– Wood: My God, I love thee
