Below are some photographs of the details revealed by the expert preservation and cleaning of the stained glass windows:
One of the problems encountered when assessing the stained glass windows was the huge quantities of paint splashed on the glass when the grilles were repainted many years ago without due care and attention. Some examples are given below.
THE CHANCEL WINDOWS
The five windows in the chancel consist of three single lancets, each with quadrfoils and two small roundels above, and two double lancents with hexafoils above. These windows are full of rich colouring, fine painting, and exquisite floral details, with lilies and passion flowers at the top and the bottom of the window.

The stained glass windows on the west gable are currently being restored and should be completed by the end of November.
The six trefoil stained glass windows above the choir stalls will be all that remains to be restored by Stefan Oidtmann. This will be undertaken during the period when the tower is being done.
